The Governing Body

The governing body consists of:

Nine governors appointed by Members of the Trust

One governor appointed by Members of the Trust specifically to represent the Sikh faith

Two parent governors elected by parents of children at the school

The Headteacher

The governing body meets at least three times a year. It operates three main committees, which meet at least once a term and usually more frequently:

Education, Standards and Pupil Welfare

Finance, HR, Audit & Risk

Safeguarding, Health & Safety and Estate Management

The governing body also operates a Pay Committee, a Headteachers’ Appraisal Committee and task groups as needed.
